    Breeding recommendations
    • Slow to mature physically; show condition not reached until 8–10 months.
    • Intelligent and active; many can be trained to run to markers on a show table.
    • Weekly grooming during molting prevents tricolor pattern from appearing dull.
    • Doe-buck ratio 8:1 standard for this exhibition breed.
    • Difficult tricolour selection — only ~30% of kits show the standard pattern.
