    It is the only lop breed specifically developed for meat production rather than just exhibition or pets.

    Breeding recommendations
    • Reaches up to 5.4 kg at maturity with a heavy, muscular build.
    • Heavy frame needs large cages and wide doors to prevent ear injuries.
    • Very docile and calm; thrives with consistent human interaction.
    • Re-mate does at 10–11 days post-partum for semi-intensive production.
    • Slow mature; first mating 6–8 months.
